Apple has released iPhone 3.2 SDK Beta 5 for iPad and developers can commence their downloads via developer.apple.com . As always, it will take the deep code divers some time to figure out exactly what’s different in beta 5, and let us know about any hidden goodies that might be inside

One year ago today Apple held their iPhone 3.0 SDK Sneak Peak event and released iPhone 3.0 Beta 1, giving all of us our first look at cut, copy, and paste, MMS, tethering, Spotlight search, Voice Memo, in-app purchases, turn-by-turn navigation, stereo Bluetooth, pervasive landscape keyboard, P2P gaming, and whole bunch more. Now, a year later, we’ve gone to version 3.1.3 release and 3.2 beta, from 30 million iPhone and iPod touch devices on the market to over 75 million (and 150 thousand iPad pre-orders), and don’t even get us started about the apps

Well isn’t that nice! Silicon Alley Insider has it on good authority that Gizmodo is one of the tech sites Steve Jobs has bookmarked in Safari on his iPad. Hi, Steve! We knew he was a fan , but I’m glad to see he’s keeping up with us tablet-style, even after letting Bill Gates’ byline run here sometime last year . How do we look on that 1024×768 screen?

Several film-screen manufacturers have confirmed that Apple’s ban will take effect in May.
