To the people who wonder “If the ps3 is hacked, why don’t we see homebrews yet?” As far as I am concerned homebrews have been achieved since Sony allowed people to run code from otheros. Regarding the playstation 3 being ‘hacked’, yes it is hacked in a sense that you can run unsigned code with full hardware privileges on the console. But then why is it not wildly used ?

Hackers or a group of hackers, form the basis of botnets, and they carry out various computer security attacks including denial of service attacks, spamming, click fraud, and the dissemination of different forms of malicious software. China Brings Down 180,000-Member Hacker Training Site [China]

Black Hawk Safety Net, an online hacker training resource with 12,000 paying members and another 170,000 free members, was brought down recently by Chinese authorities.
Only three operators of the site were arrested, while the official site itself, 3800hk.com, was put out of commission when the company’s 9 servers were seized. The site provided resources on hacking techniques and trojan software.
