New Lara Croft game on the way

Crystal Dynamics has announced that Lara Croft is set to return in a digitally downloadable adventure.
As revealed on the Eidos forums, it’s titled Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. That’s right, there’s no mention of the words Tomb or Raider in the title – perhaps because this marks a departure for the series.
“This is a really exciting project for Crystal Dynamics, we have created something completely new and very different to what people might be expecting,” said studio manager Darrell Gallagher.
“Lara Croft is such an iconic character in videogames, with Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light we have created what we believe is a truly original digital experience.”
